According to the requester, the title is an inside joke used when a member of their group has had a bad day in the role-playing session (or something). If my lyrics have any point, it's that a great deal of learning takes place through reflection on mistakes. This simple two-parter was executed rather more quickly than my last half-dozen songs at least, but it turned out pretty well. I hope you like it. -- Jeremy
Song LyricsPrinter Printable Version
Thank you my friends / I'll just make my way home again / Life was not the same when I went / as far as I believe / Remembering when / we called upon a future event / and saw ourselves reflecting / on when we looked ahead / that's when I could see / I'm not walking back to school / where games await me in a room / beside the purple beast I need to see / to praise themselves my friends will share / the list of things that happened there / but the pachyderm obscures my destiny / Thank you again / I might as well give in to myself / the reason I'm reflecting / is you point the blame at me / and that's when I can see / I'm not going back to school / where games await me in a room / beside the purple beast I need to see / to praise themselves my friends will share / the list of things that happened there / but the pachyderm obscures my destiny.
