a fish girl is a girl who is so obsessed with someone(famous), when they see them, their eyes get wide, and their lips get sucked in, and they make that face you make when you're pretending to be a fish.

I saw Dukes of Hazzard yesterday and thought it was funny.  It was pretty dumb, but still funny.

Last night (and the night before) I watched The Life Aquatic.  Really funny.  The Hitchhiker's Guide would have been better as a movie like that.

Uhm.  Oceans Twelve.  Don't really remember it.

And I watched most of A Beautiful Mind on TV the other day with my father.  During it, he turned to me and said, "The secret to staying sane, or anything, is not indulging.  Anyone can go to far with a fantasy." "If they're smart enough." "I was smart enough."

God damn my lack of asking questions.

I saw "War of the Worlds" last night.  It was pretty freaky and impressive until the moment Tim Robbins showed his face on the screen, then it was all downhill from there, and got a little hoaky too.  There were also some weird unintentional laughs in there that ruined the deep tension of the movie that had been building up.. one of them was Tim Robbins' face.  Oh well.

I just read some awesome reviews of "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" and now I wish I had seen that instead.  I've been a huge fan of Steve Corell (he was first on the Daily show) for a long time.  He's awesome and I'm glad to see he's finally in a leading role.

I haven't seen Dukes of Hazzard, but Tom Rockwell, on his weekly show called "Manic Mondays," did a review of that movie in his "crappy movie review" bit.  He says he watches the bad movies, so you don't have to.

Yes I've heard that it's crappy, but I'm tempted to go to see if Willy Mason's acting is as good as his music. Which, by the way, is very good.

Also, I saw The 40 Year Old Virgin and let me telly ou, it was abso-friggin-lutely awesome.  Go see it, now!  You will laugh from beginning to end.

Damnit. I should ban you for pointing that out. An article I read somewhere specifically said i dunno something like up-and-coming folkster Willie Mason, of "Where The Humans Eat" fame. Honestly, these no-talent journos, have they ever heard of research?

Still while we're on the subject WTHE could well me my album of the year, if i was accustomed to mking tiresome lists.

Why I Don't Make Tiresome Lists
1. Life isn't anywhere near as systematic.
2. I have better things to do with my time
4. I'm not good with numbers
6. I'm always losing my shopping list - or it's always losing me - and it follows that any list i could make (relating to shopping or otherwise) would behave the same way.
7. I betcha hitler made lists. He was efficient.
8. In any case efficient people are boring
9. And/or evil.
10. To make such a list would probably mean veering wildly off the topic of this thread.
11. Willie Mason - Where The Humans Eat.
