Title: Election Thread

I'm just curious how many people are going to be participating in the fraud known as democracy today.  Needless to say, I won't be.

I'll be doing it, and I encorage others to do it as well.  It may be a fraud, but it's the best fraud on Earth! ;)

Doubletree hotels give you free cookies for walking in with an "I Voted" sticker.  Reason enough?  I think so.

Probably the best of the likely outcomes would be for Kerry to win the White House and the Republicans to hold Congress.  That way there is gridlock, and the chance the government can further mess up our lives is at least a tiny bit lower.

I don't want to make RAS a political platform, so all I'll say about it is this:

Welcome to the new dark ages!

This forum doesn't get enough traffic for it to be a real political forum.  I wouldn't worry about it too much.  Besides, this is after all the general board, where anything goes!  Ha ha!

C'mon, we all know the dark ages were fun.  And hey, when the Plague breaks out, they'll say that's Mr. B's fault, too, and the world will believe...

Yep, politics.  My new addiction.  I read 4 newspapers in the morning, and watch 5 news channels at lunch. And I surf my Republican self through Democratic forums at night, because the fun happens in all the cantankerousness!

Just a note about all the "unity" talk.  Do we really want "America's healing to begin," where we'll compromise ourselves into a leaky, homogenous mass?  Gross.

it's late to say this, but I do not vote either.
