Thanks been German.  You can post it if you want in the fan songs.  Interested to see if anyone thinks it's any good.

I just might do that.  You really need to start editing the ID3 tags of your MP3s to include your info, though -- you don't want your songs out in the wild without any proper credit, and I'm tired of editing them for you. Smiley

Hmm.. maybe I should make a special section on the site for request-a-songs  by other people (other than me and Jeremy), instead of changing the entire site over to that format, which is what we always pondered doing in years' past.  I wonder if anyone would want to submit music to it.

I'm afraid you're making to much sense for this thread. To redress the balance, I offer this, a surrealist play (for performance on a constantly rotating stage)

THE BOAT EMERGES: A Body in 12 Parts.

ACT 1:
Jimmy: A cheese major, luitenant.
Ziggy: Occasionally, the moon rises.
Jimmy: Oh my heart jumps at the thought therein.
Ziggy: Indeed. Imagine! A boat made entirely of whale blubber!
Jimmy (crying): blubber!
Ziggy: Yes sir. Sit, sir. (A chair emerges)
Jimmy: I apologise profusely.
Ziggy: You sweat profusely!
Jimmy: The scent is deafening. (An ear emerges)
Both: LISTEN!

Act 2:
Jimmy: Hello, Orchestra.
Orchestra plays.

Act 3:
Jimmy: The body, dead.
Ziggy: Yet the eyes still see. The eyes remain.
Jimmy: They see only death.
Ziggy: Thus a child emerges, and sees only life.
Jimmy: Time for breakfast, Jimmy?
Ziggy: The forever cracking egg.

Orchestra plays.

THE END.

Use Viagra.

I would have fun writing songs with you guys.  I can write in a range of genres, so whatever is cool, I'm down.

As far as credit, I suppose you're right.  It's not like I'm trying to market them right now though.

I like your stuff, Imjustaguy.  I'll make plans to think about seeing if I can work on making the whole outsider-contributed songs thing work.

So when do I get my first assignment as far as songs go?  Can I start with something like, "I saw Mic Jagger's Boob" or something?
