Polka. No.

Newfoundland folk music. Oh yeah.
All I can play at the moment is oh when the saints, and I can barely play that.  Attempting to teach myself Wild Rover.  And by that  I mean, I 've got the first three notes, but how the hell do you play half notes on an accordion that small?   Oh dear.
Its just a tiny thing too.  Like a baby accordion.  Decemberists accordion/ashley spawn.
I'm not creepy,

Also; benj, I've always thought you needed an accordion.

So apparently they had a fundraiser (A dance and silent auction) for my family back in newfoundland.  Because my father hasn't been able to work since June, and won't be able to work until September, and my mother can work because shes taking care of him.  And staying in Edmonton and paying for medication is expensive.
But I feel so loved, they raised $30,000.  Ten times as much as they had hoped to.
Why do we live in Saskatchewan when there are so many people who care about us home?

(I just had gloat about how loved I feel.  Carry on.)

You gonna play polkas like Frank Yankovic? (No relation to Weird Al)

Sure, sounds like fun.

Heck, you could do a Weird Al type polka, Benj.  Select a list of songs you made, then turn it into a medley, and finally, play it like a polka.  Weird Al has several polkas like that (only with better-known songs).
