An acronym is generally defined as "n : a word formed from the initial letters of a multi-word name." In this topic, I'll post a new acronym every once and a while, and you guys can reply and tell us all what it stands for (or what it should stand for). After we do about 5 or 6 "stands fors" for the acronym, we'll move on to a new one (you can post one yourself). Try to limit your responses to each acronym to no greater than two per person.
Examples:
Acronym: NASA
Meaning: Nostril Astronaut Smells Always
Acronym: GHLORT
Meaning: Giant Hippo Legion Of Russet, Texas
