Welcome back DJ. Define "alive" haha. ooh you have a job now. your own company no less, with a telephone number and your full name in your sig and everything now.  Does your phone accept outgoing and incoming calls? that must be sweet.

I'm moferator of the General board now, although I don't do much moferating. I'm like a really lame-ass version of Stalin.

"I'm like a really lame-ass version of Stalin."

I would prefer to think of you as a really lame ass-version of Stalin.  Is that ok?

Did you ever think it could be someone else's phone number...like, your own?

Welcome back, D.J.

Nope, it's a brand-new, $3-a-month SkypeIn. Gimme a call! I won't phone-bite.

Sweet.  $3 sounds pretty cheap.  I have Vonage these days and it's still $25 a month.

Maybe we should all get on a three/four/five/six-way call and prank call him at once.

All together now: "IS YOUR REFRIGERATOR RUNNING?!"

SkypeIn makes it much easier and less expensive for those of your friends, family and business contacts who are not necessarily connected to the Internet to call you and share that urgent news, or to just tell you that their cat had nine (9!) kittens.

The only disadvantage is that Skype can only run through your computer, whereas Vonage can, to an extent, work without one.

Of course, I'm usually at my office (i.e. by my computer) when I'm not sleeping and I'm at home, so this isn't much of an issue.

Yeah, for Vonage you only need a special little box that hooks to your eenternet to make it work.  Great stuff, really.
