Is it just me, or does the forum seem to load a lot slower than the rest of RaS?

It does load more slowly than the rest because it has to execute complicated PHP scripts on every page.  Once I switch the site to a dedicated server in the next month or so, the page load speed will dramatically increase.

Good. And another thing: how fast is your server right now? Just curious.

The performance of our server is slow because the actual machine hosts something like 400 (!) other web sites.  But hey, it's cheap.  Our dedicated server will host only one site (RAS) with about the same speed machine that currently hosts 400 now.  So you can see the potential for a significant performance increase.
