Here's an idea. Someone posts a link to an mp3 from a legal source such as myspace, that soundclick one, peoplesound, certain mp3 blog posts, etc...for us all to comment on, discuss and give a score out of 10, allowing us all to play Simon Cowell for a bit

This is my offering, "Song Song Song" by someone who goes by the name "Final Fantasy" who's interviewed on this page. Anyone heard of this guy?

It's heady mix of classical strings, a little light hippy-folkish vocal in there...and, oh I almost forgot...GREAT BIG FRICKIN' KODO DRUMS! This sounds like something I should love, but for some reason I think it doesn't seem to quite gel. Acctually, no maybe it's growing on me. The vocal is so naive, like it's on Sesame Street or something. It's not half as interesting as the instrumentation though. I DON'T KNOW! I really want to embrace this...is it too mad for it's own good though? Maybe his voice would be better in a simpler, acoustic setting. I just expected a voice on a track like this to be a bit more epic. Am I missing the point?
7/10 from me on this one. It reminds me of the soundtrack to
Akira. Nuff said.
