Awesome album. It reminds me of so many great acts but it would be futile to name them really, but yeah Talking Heads, Beach Boys and Pink Floyd in one crazy disco. If I was a hack journalist I'ld propably call my article "Saturday Night Acid Fever" or something. But lame comparisons aside, this is a great, feel good record. Sags a bit towards the end, but still great.

I'm noticing a Robert Wyatt influence, something like the song "Heaps of Sheeps"...

Crazy that you'd say that.  A young cat my I adopted recently turns out to be pregnant (hey -- she was skinny when we got her and we never let her out!).  It's pretty exciting because you can actually see the kittens moving around in her belly.  Also, this cat is tortoise-shell and looks kinda like your avatar.

Kittens are awesome.

The Flaming Lips' latest single "The Yeah Yeah Yeah song" or something, reminds me of a few things on this album. Maybe "Forcast Fascist Future". Also, The Flaming Lip's "Fight Test" sounds a lot like a Cat Stevens record but I can't remember the title. I have a knack for spotting these similarities that is almost verging on the autistic.

Also, Elvis Presley. Elvis Costello. No difference.

Tom Jones could stand in for Britney Spears if she ever had to reveal her breasts on national television. Tom Jones, however, might struggle giving birth.

"It's not unusual!"

Donkeys are awesome. But it's an awesome-ness which is laced with a profound sadness, like the kind you get on Baywatch. And you don't want that really.
