So I decided to get this after a recomendation and after reading
favourable reviews of it. I like what I hear. On this album, atleast, they sound like a vaguely country-tinged Interpol, I guess. The sound is rich, noisy and energetic. It rocks with a surreal wit behind the lyrics and a poetic, often profound, wisdom. The sound is driven by a rich, electric guitar sound which is apparantly thanks to the involvement of Stephan Malkmus. There is really not a bad song on the album - although it is shorter than I would like (10 tracks at just over half an hour in total)
