Today, September 28th, is Hilary Duff's birthday.

(Logically, HBHD stands for Happy Birthday, Hilary Duff).

So, just thought I'd share that.  And wish her Happy Birthday.  I couldn't find a way to email her on her website.

It's ok; I hear that she visits the RAS forum nearly every day. :p

Isn't she like the RAS-forum resident troll? I seem to recall her getting an award for it or something...

Was she in the movie "Saved!" ?. Up until about half way through, that is a quality piece of satirical entertainment. It helps if you have a rather immature chip on your shoulder about organised religion, as I did at the time. I think I've grown up somewhat since then and I don't think I'd enjoy that movie so much now.

Nevertheless, satire is satire, and that film  - for the most part - does it well. It is certainly one of the most interesting, ideosyncratic teen movies ever made, along with the likes of Brick, Donnie Darko and D.E.B.S.. Anyone who considers themself a hardcore Christian, however, best tread carefully. That film was produced by R.E.M's Micheal Stipe, you know. So was Todd Haynes' Velvet Goldmine...

I'll leave now.
