Am I the only one who finds this delicious?

No. I love accordians. In fact is/are there any good accordian based music/bands I should check out that I haven't already? I should say, I have forayed more than most in this area...

Essential purchases for accordian lovers are some stuff by Yann Tiersen (particularly the Amelie sountrack) and A Hawk and A Hacksaw
And TMBG but I think - given the board I'm on - that goes without saying.

I also steel drums? aren't they great?!? Doncha just love 'em? they positively sound like sunshine...[/url]

You should start an all-accordian-and-steel-drums band.  I'd buy your CD.

P.S. The only pop-like artists I know of that use accordians are TMBG and Weird Al.

I'll assume you know of the Decemberists?

they have some delicious accordion.  (I have difficulty finding accordion music.  But they're coming back.  Tohtally.)

Also; I was kind of disappointed.  I just bought an accordion, and I am now in Newfoundland for vacation.  I came like, two days after the revolution. I so would have made that 990.

Johnny Rotton of the Sex Pistols did this song as a solo project, which incorporated the sound of an accordian being thrown down the stairs (!). I don't know what it's called but he constantly repeats the words "Good natured" in it. It's all very strange and experimental, with a kind of dance music vibe that you wouldn't necessarily expect from him. Don't suppose anyone could help me out what the title is?
