It is rather sad that fans aren't responding, even if their requests were used. Somehow, it seems to me like your site is slowly dying. :cry:
Well, these sites don't run themselves, so when the people who run them don't have much time to put into constantly promoting them, then things get stale. It's always an uphill battle to achieve anything.. it requires thousands of hours of time and effort for years to get any payoff on any new project. Unfortunately, this year I've had to face reality and get on with my life, so to speak, so I can actually pay for the food I'm eating. As a result, I haven't had the time to pour all my efforts into RAS as I have in the past.
It's really a shame that the site isn't more alive when I'm not around.. but the songs don't write themselves, and the people don't seem to come unless I'm advertising, which costs moolah. Even then, many don't stick around.
The Internet seems to be all about me me me, take take take, without giving back -- if I must be a crotchety old man for a moment.
But fear not, my friend, we have not given up on RAS. It has just been in hibernation for a while. I hope to bring it back to full bloom before long. Let's hope that I'll have the luxury of time and money to achieve it.
