I just discovered this 1969 album that has recently been remastered with extra tracks. It's a must for any Neutral Milk Hotel fans - infact i'm, sure they would cite him as an influence. The good thing about this album as opposed to some 60s psychedelia is that he maintains a strong pop sensibility amid the madness and there's never the sense that he's too stoned to perform...
so yeah. get it.
Weird. Never 'eard of 'im.
