Has anyone heard of Cake?  I went and saw a Cake concert last night, and they put on an awesome show.  They're quirky alternative rock, and if that interests you, Check them out at www.cakemusic.com.  They have such hits as "Never There," "The Distance," and "Short Skirt/Long Jacket," to name a few.

I recall overhearing a conversation about the word 'cake' on a shirt and people not knowing its a band and getting really into discussing cakes with the wearer.
Or something.  I'm kind of reluctant to mention it because the conversation may have been on this forum.

Yep.  I like some of their songs, but I still find their singer's jilted singing style a bit annoying sometimes.  One of these days I'm going to write a Cake-sounding  song and put it up on RAS.  I wrote one years ago for fun but have long since forgotten it.
