A quaint and fascinating film documenting Noam Chomsky's decision to prove his brilliance by creating his own film festival in Derly, France.  Along the way he discovers his love for the grammar of deaf people and discovers that language is meaningless unless we all think that Noam Chomsky is brilliant.

HAHA. classic. I have nothing to offer towards the next idea, but that was amazing.

Hehe, I second general amusement on that one.

Don't everyone try to come up with a  movie idea at once!  Thanks by the way.  I was laughing when I wrote it.

That one sounds so good that I'm going to have to pass it off to Doraemon.

Hit it, Dor.

Ok fine I'll do it.

Ahem.

George Washington (Bruce Campbell) is on vacation in the woods, and the same tree that raped that poor woman in Evil Dead is at it again!  Old George has to use an old musket and his wig to defeat this horrible monstrosity before he finds himself yet again faced with a horrible dilemma of getting owned by a Cherry tree.

George:  Oh snap, that bitch is back!

Shot on location in Beijing.

Next movie

"Animal Hair"

Animal Hair is a three hour art movie consisting of nothing but rotating colored montages of piles of fluffy animal hair.  Zebra and giraffe hair figure prominently in this film.  182 mins, 1968.

I'M OFF TO FILM SCHOOL!

Seriously you shouldn't let an idea like that go so easily - you could graduate with that!  Smiley

Cry Me a Weiner

A devastating documentary about illegal Dachsund fights in Southern Austria.  William Shatner leads us through the horribly violent world in which people are often eaten alive by the vicious little weiners.  Despite his best efforts, Shatner sheds tears almost every five minutes, and eventually develops a condition where he cries profusely at the sight of a Dachsund, which sadly enough, distracts the viewers from the issue of Weiner dog abuse, and eventually, the whole documentary turns into a counseling session for William Shatner.

Quotable quotes:

"Those weiners, they... cause me such sorrow."  William Shatner

"If'n zee veiner bites, zen you must bite'n zee veiner"  Dachsund trainer regarding breaking in new champion dogs.

A 4 part 8 hour series.

Quote from: "imjustaguy"
A man (Joe Idaho) discovers he doesn't really exist, but he loves a woman (Penelope Jones).  So, he travels the world trying to find out how to exist so the woman he loves will notice him.  He learns that the only way for him to really exist is to show actions of love.  So he does actions of love for the woman he loves and she notices him.  He eventually learns how to really exist and they fall in love.

Joe Idaho- Will Ferrell
Penelope Jones- Scarlett Johanson

Joe-  Do I exist now?

Penelope-  You've shown that you love me, I guess that counts.

Joe-  I walked a long way to learn how to exist.  I walked across the Great Wall of China five times in a row.

Penelope-  You mean shortways.

Joe-  Yes.  Run away with me, I'll give you flowers when you wake up.

Penelope-  What if I am having a wonderful dream and I don't want to wake up?

Joe-  Who needs dreams?  I exist!

Directed by Tim Burton

Crazy.  Somehow doesn't seem funny... but not sure if it's supposed to be.  And yet, it's not freaky enough to be not funny, either.  Oh well.

Watch "Talledega Nights."  It's awesome.

But we did that! And it had nothing to do with "Stranger Than Fiction"!...

I'm CONFUSED!

Smash the Clouds is the next one.  I was trying to point out the similarities of the movie concepts.  I think Joe Idaho is a better concept personally :D
