I read that early in his "career" Charlie Manson would break into peoples houses purely to rearrange the furniture. Leaving the "victim" severly...puzzled

There was another incedent (different perpetrator) where the victim returned home to find all the lightbulbs in her house missing. Nothing else was taken. Police could not fathom a motive.

Wow, that sounds like fun.  Too bad he and his "family" didn't stick to furniture rearranging.
