I was just introduced to this band last week and I'm addicted now. At first I was really wary; firstly, they have a cliche name, also, they are 90's grunge-pop. Still, I tried and was rewarded.

I've decided the reason they are cool is because their topics are good (i.e. mundane). Kitty is, believe it or not, about a cat. They also sound good too (lump is a good example). Peaches is rightly the most popular. Kick Out The Jams is quite catchy and Back Porch is awesome simply because they play it so hard yet it's just an old guy on a porch so seriously.
Still, the second album is the better one. Volcano, Tiki God, Froggie, and Toob Amplifier all deserve special mention. And the intro/outro tracks are pretty ingenous. Oh, does anyone know if "Mach 5" is about Speed Racer or not?
Actually, they're a lot like RAS--except with studio quality production. Hey, at least RAS has put out more material
