Would it be possible to have a thing where we can see peoples requests as they are submitted?

Yeah, it's possible.  We're considering that.  More likely is a request-of-the-week or a hall of fame of unfulfilled requests.  We may not have any of those things when the new site first opens, but they might be added later.  We're just not sure yet.  Personally, I like the idea.
